For many MovieBlast users, live sport is the main reason they install the app — and cricket tops the list. Here's how to find the match quickly and keep it smooth from the first ball to the last.
Finding Live Matches
- Open MovieBlast and tap the Sports tab at the top of the home screen.
- Look for the Live Now row — every match that's currently on air shows a red LIVE badge.
- Tap the match, then pick a stream. If one link is slow, go back and try the next one.
Upcoming fixtures are listed below the live row, so you can check start times in advance.
Stop Buffering During Big Moments
Live streams can't pre-load the way movies can, so they're more sensitive to your connection:
- Choose 480p or 720p for live cricket on a phone. It's much more stable than 1080p.
- Use Wi-Fi where you can, and avoid large downloads on the same network during the match.
- Switch streams if one keeps freezing — servers get busy during big fixtures.
- Clear the cache before a long Test session to keep the player responsive.

Missed The Match? Watch Replays
Scroll down the Sports tab to Match Replays. Full matches and highlights are usually added shortly after the final ball — perfect when games are played in a different time zone.
Watch Cricket On Your TV
Cricket is better on a big screen. You have three easy options:
- Install MovieBlast on your Android TV or Firestick — see our smart TV guide.

Save Mobile Data
A three-hour T20 innings at 720p can use 2–3 GB. If you're on a limited plan, drop to 360p or 480p — you'll still see every boundary clearly on a phone.
